Queens, New York-born BMX athlete Nigel Sylvester unveiled his latest collaboration with Air Jordan this week, introducing his “Brick by Brick” Air Jordan 4 sneaker (style code: HF4340-800) and apparel capsule. Nigel’s AJ4 features a firewood orange suede upper, a color mirroring the many red brick buildings New York is known for. The shoe also features a small white Swoosh at the forefoot and white, Bike Air branding at the heel.
In addition to the Air Jordan 4, the collection marks Sylvester’s entry into apparel with a collection of sweatshirts, jackets, t-shirts and track pants.
Jordan and Sylvester built some buzz around the effort with a flatbed truck loaded up with a giant red brick adorned with a Bike Air Logo, which was parked in SoHo on January 10, 2025. Sylvester handed out free t-shirts until the event was shut down by police.
The street activation was followed by a runway presentation stated in The Standard Hotel, where models wore the Air Jordan 4 shoe and pieces from the Brick by Brick collection. Rappers Murda Mook and Loaded Lux both performed.
Priced at $225, Jordan and Sylvestor’s Air Jordan 4 will launch on March 14th on SNKRS and at select retailers.
