Farfetch-owned Stadium Goods is closing its store located on Howard Street in Manhattan. The business will be consolidated into 412 Broadway, a location the company had previously utilized as a drop-off center for resellers.
In a statement, the company said it was focusing resources on ecommerce in an effort to drive growth. “As we focus on growing our digital channels, we’ve made the decision to close the retail store at 47 Howard Street in SoHo in January 2025,” Stadium Goods Senior Vice President Michael Daniel said in a statement provided to Complex. “We expect minimal impact on your business from this change next year. We will be looking into new options for the future of the Stadium Goods retail experience, so stay tuned—exciting updates are coming your way in the new year..”
The company was started in 2015 at the Howard Street location by founders John McPheters and Jed Stiller, who would go on to sell the business to Farfetch for $250 million.
Stadium Goods location at 47 Howard Street will close on January 19, 2025.
