Rihanna popped up last night (January 14, 2019) in New York where she spotted at SOBs to take in a performance by Brookly rapper 718 Spank. The Bajan boss stunted in a oversized Vetements blazer, worn over a flourescent green Mason Margiela bodysuit, Fenty X Savage lace bra and Citizen of Humanity black jeans. She also carried a $4,000 Dioraddict lockbox bag.
The big statement, however, were her oversized sunglasses, which were stamped with a Fenty logo. Rihanna currently oversees two brands: Fenty x Savage and Fenty Beauty. She hasn’t announced plans for a new brand, but the sunglasses hint that she’s queuing up a new platform.
Rihanna was spotted in a different outfit but the same shades while out and about on Monday night.
In January of 2018, Kanye West told his wife, Kim Kardashian, “it’s all about tiny sunglasses.” We can happily report a year later that the tiny sunglass trend is dead, thankfully deaded by Rihanna.
