City Girls member JT née Jatavia Johnson checked in from prison yesterday (February 1, 2019) with a video shouting out her fans and also Cardi B. “What’s up bitches, what’s up city girls and boys? What’s up Cardi? Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for ‘Twerk.’ It’s my favorite video. I can’t wait to get out to get to that bag, get that money and drop that music. Period!
The video was provided by City Girls manager Pierre “Pee” Thomas, CEO of Quality Control, who filmed her during a recent visit.
JT began serving a two-year term for fraud-related charges on June 29, 2018. Rumors surfaced in the fall of last year that she would be released on December 15, 2018, though clearly that event didn’t come to fruition.
Her current date of release is listed as March 21, 2020, the same date that was listed when she began serving her sentence.
