Having seen Duckie Thot in real life, we can confirm the Australian 23-year-old possesses other-worldly, glowing skin that’s probably in large part attributable to genetics. Still, maintenance is everything and given her gorgeous complexion combined with her access to the best of the best, who wouldn’t want to know what Thot is putting on her gorgeous visage.
Providing the details on her skincare, beauty and hair routine to the NY Times, the L’Oréal model notes, “Skin care is really important to me. If your skin is good, you can really wear anything.”
Check out her tips below.
Skincare
Thot revealed that she’s all about thoroughly removing makeup and not only washes off any makeup before she goes to bed, but does it again in the morning to remove the tiniest remnants including mascara. Above all else, Thot is all about keeping her skin hydrated.
Moisturizer: L’Oréal Hydra Genius moisturizer ($17.99) “I actually hydrate before my cleanser.”
Cleanser: Bioderma Sebium H20 water ($15.00) or Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser ($26.00)
Masks: For flights, Sephora Bubble Mask ($6.00) and for overnight, Lancôme Hydra Zen Mask ($48.00) and the Shiseido Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask ($40.00).
Beauty
Foundation: M.A.C. Studio Fix Fluid Neutral Warm 58 or 60 ($30): “I’ve been a fan of the 58 for years. It has a beautiful red undertone to it. The 60 just came out.” Also: L’Oréal True Match: ($14.99).
Brows: Natasha Denona Eyebrow Shadow Mono ($22.00)
Mascara: L’Oréal Voluminous Million Lashes ($8.99)
Lip gloss: Shiseido Crystal Gel: ($22.00): “It’s really thick and lasts for hours and hours.”
Hair
Maintenance: “My natural hair is quite curly and Afro-like. I wear a lot of wigs so it’s protected when I’m working. Early on in my career, I experienced a lot of hair damage, with all the straighteners and blow-dryers. Now it’s about keeping it healthy. I keep my hair in protective braids. I have a specialist in New York who comes over to wash it. She works with me every two weeks. But I was just in Australia for six weeks, and I had it treated at home with this shea butter, cream and an essential oil batch that my friend makes. And my mom helps me with the conditioning to keep it nice and healthy.”
Shampoo: Hair Rules cleansing cream ($5.99) “I use their shampoo, and they have this great spray that I use before I get a blowout.”
