French label Jacquemus as led by Simon Porte Jacquemus put an exclamation point on on Paris Fashion Week Men’s on Monday (June 24, 2019) with a 10th anniversary presentation that was staged in a field full of lavender flowers in the French countryside.
The backdrop was heightened by a bright pink runway that extended through the landscape’s rolling hills, creating an other-worldly scene that called to mind Dorothy and her travel companion’s stroll through the poppies in The Wizard of Oz.
While the pastoral setting in and of itself was remarkable, as it happens the field of lavenders provided the perfect backdrop for the easy breezy and beautifully colorful collection of separates.
