HBO’s “Euphoria” last night (August 4, 2019) closed out its debut season with “And Salt the Earth Behind You,” an episode that closed out with a WTF, gut-wrenching scene backed by the Labrinth single “All for Us.” Significantly, the song was updated with a Zendaya feature. The 22-year-old’s inclusion on the song puts the exclamation point on what has been a widely praised performance on the teen-centered series.
British singer Labrinth (real name Timothy Lee McKenzie) in June 2019 was announced as the lead composer for “Euphoria,” a series conceived and directed by Sam Levinson. The series is co-produced by Drake.
A former Disney actress, Zendaya made her signing debut in 2011 with two singles, “Swag It Out” and “Watch Me.” Two years later, she released a self-titled album.
Check out the video “All for Us” that includes imagery from the draw-dropping final scene, leaving fans wondering whether Zendaya will survive what appears to be a second overdoes.
