Houston-born rapper Megan thee Stallion is not the one. Following a public dust up on Instagram with her makeup artist, Akil McCoy, who complained about a lack of credit for his work, Megan (real name Megan Pete) let talk show host Wendy Williams know she’s dismissed him.
On “The Wendy Williams” showed that aired on Friday (October 25, 2019), Williams said she’s been chatting with the 24-year-old rapper over the past few weeks behind the scenes. Williams explained, “Did you fire the makeup artist? She said, ‘Of course.”
Williams then asked, “Have you found a new makeup artist, are you in a rush? ‘No, I do my own makeup.'”
The 55-year-old talk show host added that their respective teams are working on a time for her to visit the show. “Summer is over so there’s no more ‘Hot Girl Summer,’ but she’s definitely having a ‘Follow Me Fall,’ into a ‘Winning Winter.’
