Houston-born rapper Megan thee Stallion (real name Megan Pete) had a good ole time celebrating Trey Songz‘s (real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson) pre-party birthday celebration on Wednesday night (November 20, 2019) at Marquee in New York. Stationed in front of the DJ booth, Megan and the soon-to-be 34-year-old Trey were all over each other while taking in the crowd in front of them.
When Megan woke up the following morning (no doubt with a sizable hangover) she was greeted by a storm on social media where her and Trey’s cozy good times together were viewed at the very least as official confirmation that Moneybagg Yo is out of the picture. Naturally, fans also wondered whether Money Bagg’s spot was taken by Trey, who was first spotted with Megan on Halloween 2019.
On Twitter, shut down talk of either intimacy or a relationship. In response to a follower, she wrote, ” I ain’t hit so idk lol,” and then added, “Why y’all want me to be a “hoe” so bad ? Lol I’ve only dated ONE person y’all know about all that other shit is RUMORS/LIES … I ain’t addressing shit else bye”
While Megan’s mentions were full of people doubting her claims, there are also those who view the entire relationship as a farce, one cooked up by their shared record label (Atlantic Records) to generate press. (Tbh, given the video this seems more far-fetched than Megan’s claims.)
