New York-based stylist June Ambrose has linked once again with Selima Optique on a tres chic eyewear capsule. Silhouettes include “Dora with Stars,” a tribute to Ambrose’s mother; “Edna,” inspired by the eccentric Edna “E” Mode of The Incredibles and “Michelle,” a shout out to former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Ambrose first partnered with Selima Optique in 2012 and has gone on to design multiple capsules with the stylish eyewear label, a New York-based brand founded by Selima Salau in 1996. Reflecting Salau’s own global roots, the brand’s silhouettes are designed in New York and handmade in Paris.
