New York’s own Princess Nokia is back in music-making mode with news she plans to drop two new albums, titled Everything Is Beautiful and Everything Sucks.
Reflecting her wide-ranging music influences and interests, Everything is Beautiful was recorded in New York, Puerto Rico and Los Angeles and is described by Nokia, whose real name is Destiny Nicole Frasqueri, as an album reflecting her sensitive and feminine side. Meanwhile, Everything Sucks is “brash, ruthless and insistent” and was recorded in one week with producer Chris Lare.
Alongside the album announcement, Nokia has dropped the lead single for each album, “Practice” from Everything Sucks and from Everything is Beautiful, “Green Eggs & Ham” which includes a Sebastian Sdaigui-directed visual.
