Air Jordan has queued up a new OG Sneaker colorway, this time offering the woman’s shoe in university red, black and white colorway a la the brand’s original Air Jordan 1 colors. Sitting on a white outsole, the dimpled red leather upper is contrasted by a wavy black mesh interlay, a distinct marker for the shoe.
Originally released in 1988 in celebration of the WNBA’s inaugural season, Jordan re-released the silhouette in the original white and black colorway in January 2020. The re-release was followed by a shoe made in collaboration with Melody Ehsani that was offered in black with a double-cherry lace lock.
Priced at $140 and sized in women’s sizes 5-11, the university red version of the shoe is currently available on nordstrom.com.
