It’s with a heavy heart we share the news of Melody Ehsani’s New York store closing this month. A statement on the brand’s Instagram reads, “So sad to announced that due to COVID-19 we are closing our NYC store. We will be opening our doors the last two weekends, all inventory will be on sale before we close.
“Setting up in NYC was a labor of love. I’m hoping we’ll be back in some capacity soon. Special thank you to Melissa Truex who built the shop by hand, the Estelle Bailey-Babenzien who helped with design decisions and Fafi who bless our dressing rooms with her art.”
The Kenmare Street boutique opened on August 2018, an exciting development for female streetwear lovers to have a store in Manhattan with cool gear and a dope staff.
Just prior to an in-store launch in mid-March of her Jordan OG silhouette, Ehsani was forced to close the store as part of the City’s efforts to prevent the spread of the virus.
According to the schedule posted by the brand, the shop’s final day of business will be July 26th.
