Los Angeles-based Sweet Street Cosmetics introduces its first color palette, a collection of eight shades called “L.A. Lady.” The palette comes packaged in a super cute pink and grey case detailed with an illustration of a vintage car and palm trees befitting Los Angeles.
Press on the palette reads, “You will cruise from day-to-night with a dramatic matte black, coppery-browns, glints of mesmerizing shimmer and a highlight-ready cream, that will enhance your iconic beauty at every turn. Compact in size, with a built in mirror, create your show-stopping looks wherever you’re parked.”
Introducing the palette on Instagram, the brand wrote, “A love letter written in shimmers and golden sunsets to the city that made us and raised us. We dedicate this palette to every girl in every neighborhood all across the world that has ever felt the way we do about our beloved City of Angels.”
The drop is accompanied by a short film of the same title celebrating the West Coast, its vibe and its women. Narrated by Los Angeles poet Yessika Starr, the film was directed by Edward Tran and produced by Sweet Street Cosmetics founders Lala Romero and Natalia Durazo.
Priced at $42, the L.A. Lady color palette is now available on sweetstreetcosmetics.com.
