Rihanna made a big statement in New York on Sunday (April 4, 2021) by joining a Stop Asian Hate rally. As documented by her longtime assistant, Tina Truong, the music creative and entrepreneur created her own sign and then marched with demonstrators in Manhattan.
Providing some humor, Rihanna was captured interacted with a demonstrator who asked her to pull up her Instagram feed on his phone. Shocked to see her produce her @badgalriri feed, he asked incredulously, “Is that you?”
Wearing a similar fit to the one she wore for a Venice Beach outing, Rihanna was decked out in a vintage Avirex leather jacket and a pair of Nike and Ambush Dunk High sneakers.
