Interceope-signed, Ghanaian-American artist Amaarae today released her long-awaited album Fountain Baby, a 14 track project highlighting her powerful voice. Alongside the album, Amaarae released a music video for “Wasted Eyes,” a visual directed by Lauren Dunn.
Fountain Baby provides a global tapestry of sounds transcending boundaries and norms. Lyrics delve into themes of female empowerment, challenging gender conventions, while exploring the realms of female sexuality and artistic self-expression.
Rooted in her West African heritage, yet resonating on a universal scale, the project reflects her talent for expanding beyond the constraints of genre and regional limitations.
