Rihanna was spotted wearing Puma kicks while shopping in New York over the holiday weekend, ones that appear to have been customized by Mr. Completely, who adds a creeper bottom to sneaker silhouettes. It may not seem like such a big deal, after all, she wears sneakers all the time, but as we mentioned in our post covering her rumored partnership with Puma, we don’t recall in our many years of tracking her fashion moves, ever seeing her in a pair of the label’s kicks. Until now she’s mostly worked through a line up including styles by Jordan, New Balance and Nike. This sudden 180 degree turn if anything provides further confirmation that her deal with Puma is a done one and it’s all over except for the official announcement.
