Tapping into its lengthy heritage as a cool brand, Adidas Originals has linked with model Kate Moss and artist Doug Abraham on the relaunch of its Gazelle silhouette this year. Using an image of Moss captured in 1993 wearing the classic Gazelle, artist and designer Doug Abraham aka @bessnyc4 known was tapped to hack or reappropriate the image with mixed materials to bring it back to the future if you will.
Abraham is not new to the fashion world, having captured a lot of eyes through his Instagram handle @bessnyc4. While there has been peace in the kingdom since a face-to-face meeting with Instagram, his name includes the number 4 because the prior three iterations had been taken down for violating terms of service.
