Known for her bold blend of prints and colors rooted in her Italian/Haitian heritage, it makes a lot of sense that designer Stella Jean is slated to be the first designer to collaborate with United Colors of Benetton, a global brand also known for its affinity for making color statements.
Ranging in price 79 euros ($84) to 299 euros ($316), the capsule includes coats, maxi cardigans, plissé skirts, cropped pants and cutout sweaters, featured graphics were inspired in part by Native American symbols, especially those of the Navajo.
“This collaboration, the first in the history of our brand, has a special importance and we are happy that the partnership with Stella Jean can be defined a perfect marriage,” said United Colors of Benetton communication and marketing director Gianluca Pastore. Watch Jean speak about her thoughts on the collection in the video below.
The collection will include a total of 2o pieces and will be sold at 100 United Colors of Benetton boutiques in Europe, India, the Far East and Latin America, starting on December 1st. Offerings will also be available on benetton.com.
