Given her musical pedigree, it is not the surprising in the case of Puma Sabti Curry, the apple has fallen directly beneath the tree. The daughter of Erykah Badu and rapper/writer The D.O.C. aka Tracy Lynn Curry, was captured on video today singing a sweetly soulful version of Rihanna‘s song “Stay.” Uploaded by Badu to her Instagram, Puma sang while gently twirling on a very Chez Badu-ish indoor swing.
Producer Swizz Beatz, whose own son, Egypt has also shown musical talent, chimed in on the comment section, and wrote, “She need to let Egypt prod a track ASAP.” Not a leap given since his youngest son already has created a beat for Kendrick Lamar.
