Rapper and actress Paigey Cakey has released the visual for “Special” a song about love and consequences of life on the street. The final track on Cakey’s “Red Velvet” mixtape released this past December, “Special” showcases the 24-year-old emcees vocal prowess in a slow jam she recorded in her bedroom.
Directed by Craig Capone, the video shows Cakey and a love interest navigating his return home from prison and his slow return to the life that put him in trouble with the law in the first place.
Cakey is also featured on Brazilian soccer star Neymar’s 17 track mixtape a “Soundtrack for Football,” made in collaboration with Nike.
