Versace’s new Chain Reaction sneaker boot has begun to hit retail and the first colorway for women is a statement-making tartan plaid. First revealed on Instagram by Versace shoe designer Salehe Bembury in May 2018, the boot features the same, distinct chain-link outsole inspired by Versace’s chain jewelry.
Other signature elements include an imprint of the label’s Greek key pattern on the upper half of the outsole, as well “love” written on the toe in braille, conveying the concept that love is blind.
Sized from 35.5-39.5, the boot is priced at $1,350 and is now available for pre-order on versace.com.
