Singer, songwriter and dancer DaniLeigh nee Danielle Curiel drops a video for her infectious single “Lil Bebe,” a visual shot at Bodega’s Los Angeles outpost.
The video includes moves by Millenium Dance Complex dancers and includes styling by Taisha Suero, who wins bonus points for including a custom Goyard “Chest Rig” bag by Sheron Barber.
In an interview with Billboard, the 22-year-old commented on recently signing with Def Jam. Said DaniLeigh, “With different labels and even different producers, the thing with me has always been, you know, if I really wanted to, I could really dress it up and do the whole long hair and heels and show off my body. There’s no issue if other people do that at all, but for me, I just know that’s not my true message and I’d rather be comfortable and do what I really want to do. That was a really big confirmation for me when I met with [Def Jam] and my A&R really had the same vision as me. All the other labels were like, “You need to do pop, you need to do this and that.” That was the last label meeting that I had and it was a gut feeling, definitely. ”
