Former Celine designer Hedi Slimane also weighed in on the frenzy, taking to Instagram where he provided the back story on the jeans he designed when he was still with the label: "In his Spring/Summer 2020 collection for Celine, Hedi Slimane, who launched the skinny jeans in the late 90’s at YSL and Dior Homme, introduced his first flared jeans as a tribute to [French singer] Serge Gainsbourg. These jeans were showcased during his Celine fashion show on June 23, 2019."

For her Super Bowl Half Time performance with Kendrick Lamar, SZA was styled by Alejandra Lapilusa @aleherself in an all custom look designed mainly by Los Angeles-based creatives.

She wore a top by @katebroadrick paired with a Crybaby leather jacket customized by Born X Raised, a leather and fur belt by Luis Cendejas, @ashtonmichael pants and Converse sneakers. Accessories included a diamond tennis necklace by @lanajewelry and red diamond rings by @ethomaria.

Her dancers wore custom @yearofours football bras and leggings, layered under custom Born X Raised workwear.
