This is the launch of Truthful Tuesday, whose theme will be a fashion item that has garnered mixed reviews. First up is Isabel Marant’s Nowles shearling hidden wedge boot. Marant is viewed as a trendsetter in footwear so it was interesting to hear the mixed reviews on this item when it was shown during Autumn 2013 presentations. Feedback is no less mixed now that the boot has hit retail. We thought it was a more fashionable and thus more wearable update on Ugg boots, but perhaps that trauma of that trend is too close in the rear view mirror for style lovers so that anything that even remotely an Ugg boot garners a knee-jerk no way!
