Beyonce joined her sister, Solange, on stage at Coachella for the final moments of her song “Losing You,” and together they performed a choreographed dance routine that had the look and feel of sheer joy moves perfected as young girls in the privacy of their living room long, long before the days of fame and fortune. It’s funny, even though Beyonce is the older sister, one gets the sense that Solange is not only very protective of her more famous sister but also see herself as a sort of bridge to the real world. Knowing best how much Beyonce sacrificed as a child to bring the whole family up and how that has led to a certain degree of forced isolation, Solange seems to enjoy providing a more intimate and spontaneous platform where her sister can just breathe and have fun.
