In a visit to Stutterheim‘s New York showroom last week, once again the label’s rain poncho caught our eye. It’s a silhouette that seems to be cropping up everywhere lately, including Nike’s tech pack, which also featured a poncho. The poncho shown here is available in unisex sizes. Stüssy's New York store is opening on February 14

Stüssy's New York store is opening on February 14th.

Located at 50 Prince Street, near Mulberry Street, this new addition joins a vibrant retail block alongside @242mulberry, @standardandstrange, @osswaldnyc, and @aimeleondore, among others.

Previously Stüssy's retail store in New York was located on 176 Spring street, and is now the Denim Tears African Diaspora Goods store.

While Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance received a range of reviews, fashion lovers uniformly gave his $1,300 Celine "Flared Surf" jeans a big thumbs up.

Styled by Taylor McNeill and paired with a pair of Nike Air DT Max 96 sneakers, the bell bottom silhouette inspired a rash of articles on how to recreate the look, causing a rush on Levi's website where the 567 "Relaxed Flare" jeans, priced at $98, sold out shortly after the performance.

Former Celine designer Hedi Slimane also weighed in on the frenzy, taking to Instagram where he provided the back story on the jeans he designed when he was still with the label: "In his Spring/Summer 2020 collection for Celine, Hedi Slimane, who launched the skinny jeans in the late 90’s at YSL and Dior Homme, introduced his first flared jeans as a tribute to [French singer] Serge Gainsbourg. These jeans were showcased during his Celine fashion show on June 23, 2019."
