Nike is focusing a lot of its efforts on growing its women’s business and female sneaker lovers have definitely been on the receiving end of a lot of love. This week a series of Nike Lunar Force 1s hit the stores in three colorways: white, black and blue. This shoe combines a Lunar-inspired wedge bottom with an Air Force 1 upper and the result is a very clean and stylish shoe. On a side note, it’s amazing to see how much Nike has progressed in terms of the quality on the build of its wedges. First launched in 2012, the initial offerings were very rough with unfinished tongues that had foam showing and an overall construction that felt hard and uncomfortable. It’s good to see that Nike takes the wedge silhouette seriously and has made a clear effort to bring up the design and quality of the shoes.
