Married To The Mob x Clot x Peanuts

November 21, 2014. Leave a Comment

Married to the Mob has partnered with Chinese streetwear label Clot on a Peanuts-themed collection of apparel, including a yellow varsity jacket with all over branding, matching Lucy leggings and crop top and a graphic cheetah sweatshirt featuring Snoopy, plus multiple muscle tees. This is an especially apt collection because MTTM founder Leah McSweeney (who is featured in the lookbook), is known for her willingness to speak frankly about the sexual and social dynamics that shape human interactions and while Peanut’s Lucy may not be quite as risque as McSweeney, certainly both are bonded by their reputation for speaking plainly. Look for these items to drop on the Mob shop on Monday, November 24th.

Ambrosio and Tordini see the street as the most democratic of spaces, where life happens and fashion truly comes alive. In press with WWD Tordini shared, "We didn’t work over the past seven years thinking about how one day we would have hosted a runway show. That was never our priority, we worked to build the company."

Oozing of a certain cool, the brand is beloved by many fashion creatives, as Vogue noted attendees included Ferragamo’s Maximilian Davis, Gucci’s Sabato De Sarno, Jerry Lorenzo, Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini and DSquared designers Dean and Dan Caten, to name a few.
