Nike And Sacai Lookbook For Holiday

December 13, 2015. Leave a Comment

Nike has rolled out additional images in support of its NikeLab collaboration with Sacai designer Chitose Abe. It’s good to see the looks professionally photographed with models on the move, which better reveals the garments’ complex construction.

Parts of this collection first hit stores in November and additional items were added on December. The the deconstructed wool sweater featuring a chopped up Swoosh aka the pièce de résistance our Instagram followers LOVED,  is not yet on the site though will likely land in the next week or so. The collection also features two shoe silhouettes, the Sacai Dunk Lux and Air Max, which as of now the NikeLab site says are “coming soon.”

UPDATE: It appears the wool sweater is available online and in stores only at NikeLab and DoverStreetMarket in Japan. Available in XS, S and M, the M is now sold out online.

Designed for women, Lility NYC takes its name from a mythological character who has been described as the wife of Adam in early texts.

Lilith NYC’s debut silhouette is called Caudal Lure, a form of mimicry used by snakes to lure prey using their tails akin to how sneaker lovers flex their kicks. The name is referenced through the shoe’s super-sized Vibram outsole, designed to resembles a snake’s tail.

Lilith’s debut Caudal Lure sneaker is now available for pre-order on lilith.nyc.
