While Capsule Show and Liberty Fairs are under different ownership, the two shows are friendly with each other and capitalize off of each other’s synergies by showing in adjacent spaces and sharing entry badges. While there’s crossover, Capsule has more of a boutique vibe, featuring items that have appeal with a customer who enjoys seeking out and discovering unique items, whether one off, customized, vintage or limited in distribution. As of late, Capsule has done a great job with curated sections and at the NYC menswear show last week, a highlight was the “London Showcase,” which included 7L, KTZ, Maharishi, Tourne de Transmission, Baartmans and Siegal, Peir Wu, an effort reflective of Capsule’s global reach.
