Stylist Solange Franklin And Ed Singleton Highlight African Design Talent

Spotlighting design talent from various countries in Africa, stylist Solange Franklin teamed up with photographer Ed Singleton to create a fashion editorial titled “Africa Rising.”

A beautiful display of sharp style made even more stunning with models Maria Borges and Ajak Deng, the images highlight a new generation of African designers who honor their roots while also advancing the art of fashion design and innovation.

Featured designers include: Almasika, Bridget Awosika, Brother Vellies, Grey, Kenneth Ize, Loza Maleombho, Meena, Needle & Thræd, Nkwo, Nomad Vintage NYC, Omer Asim, Omondi, Orange Culture, Osei Duro, Post-Imperial, Ré (Bahia), Richard Braqo, Third Crown, Tree Fairfax, Tsemaye Binitie, Sophie Zinga and Washington Roberts.
