Rihanna and Calvin Harris have released a video for “This Is What You Came For,” a single that followed after Rih’s decidenly not dancey ANTI album to provide a treat for her club music fans. Directed by Emil Nava, the video feels like a club, filled as it is with strobe-lights and shot in a studio with just a single costume change, possibly a first for a Rihanna video.
Don’t get us wrong, Rih looks great in her Isabel Hall sparkle jumpsuit, Guiseppe heels and blingy hair accessories, but this is a video that is really for her most ardent fans (which includes us!), sort of just like the song.
Style Notes: Hall is a recent Pratt Institute graduate and landed on Rihanna’s radar during her time as an intern for stylist/designer Adam Selman.
