Women’s streetwear label Dimepiece recently took some time out to refresh their retail/showroom space located in the Merchant Exchange building in Los Angeles, and invited in Apartment Therapy to check out the very dope results.
As designed by A-Industrial with input from Dimepiece co-founders Ashley Jones and Laura Fama, the look of the room is modern eclectic, and we see lots of cute streetwear-themed touches, like an MCM leather chair and stuffed rabbit, custom platform Nike kicks, a Lord Nermal pillow, a Jean Jullien print and hand-painted graffiti Kristofferson San Pablo along one wall.
Jones and Fama said the biggest challenge were the fluorescent ceiling lights, which they were unable to change because of lease limitations. They hit upon using a rope design that artfully camouflaged the lights without touching them.
