The Late Late Show host James Corden nabs none other than Michelle Obama for “Carpool Karaoke” an episode that kicks off with the two belting out Stevie Wonder’s “Sign, Sealed and Delivered.” Obama explains in the video this is the second time in seven and a half years she’s been in the passenger seat of a car, rocking out to music.
Corden in the video asked Obama what she would miss the most about life as a First Lady and she told him it would be the people she’s come to know at the White House, adding that she would enjoy gaining back the freedom to do things herself. Obama also discussed launching a Snapchat account, MichelleObama, to raise awareness about educating girls globally.
Song selection includes Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Obama-led, collaborative, girl power anthem “This Is for my Girls,” which included a Missy Elliott appearance, followed by Elliiott’s classic hip hop party tune, “Get Ur Freak On.”
