Gucci‘s spring 2017 runway was in part a holler back at Future’s “I Thought It Was a Drought” Gucci flip-flop-themed song, released in July 2015. Nah, that’s completely not true, though wouldn’t it be fun if it were?? This is the deal, almost two years into this torrid love affair with Alessandro Michele (whose first presentation was in February 2015), while we’re still very much smitten, things have entered into that easily bored, take Alessandro for granted phase. Maybe it was all the red lights that made the fashion hard to see or that we miss our side piece, Trouble Andrew. And since it’s complaint season, would it kill Michele to cast a few more black models? #sheesh.
It’s okay though, ‘Dro, we still have love for you though.
