Very cool Amsterdam sneaker brand Filling Pieces has always recognized the female customer, frequently offering shoes sized and colored with the ladies in mind. For the first time this fall, the brand is offering a collection of kicks specifically designed for women. “Our collections feature footwear designed with both men and women in mind. But as designers we had a real desire to design product aimed solely at females and to introduce our concept of female footwear to the market” said Filling Pieces designer Guillaume Philibert, who designed the collection with Caroll Lynn aka Careaux.
Comprised of three styles: High Avalanche, Mid Monti and High Marina, the collection is made in the brand’s family-owned atelier in Portugal and features all the usual Filling Pieces trademark touches like elastic bungee-cord lacing, soft leather uppers and rose gold toned hardware (swoon!). Along with its signature sporty Ultra Sole, with this collection the brand is rolling out it new, slightly elevated “Girlfriend” wedge sole.
