In part three of her interview with Snobette, Laura Stylez discussed the launch of “Improper Etiquette,” her podcast with Married to the Mob CEO, Leah McSweeney. Kicked off five months ago, Stylez told us it’s currently her favorite thing because of the space it provides her to speak freely, in contrast to her role as a host on Hot 97’s morning show, where she has to be mindful of an audience that includes “mothers who are driving their kids to school everyday.”
Stylez went on to explain that the podcast is themed around her and McSweeney talking openly about their lives and experiences and includes an advice segment in response to listener emails. “I’m not even trying to exist in the hip hop space, I’m not trying to make it celebrity driven. I just want it to be real, honest conversation,” said Stylez.
