MadeMe Links With Schott On Perfecto Jacket With Campaign Ft. Princess Nokia

MadeMe has linked with iconic outerwear company Schott on a very special Perfecto  leather jacket with intricately-designed embroidered sleeves. This is the fourth collaboration for the two brands, a partnership that was first realized in 2011.

In a Manon Macasaet-shot lookbook, the star of the show is New York rapper Princess Nokia, who today released the visual “Kitana” for from her EP, “1992.”  

Commenting on Macaset, MadeMe designer told Dazed, “Manon works a lot with MadeMe on a few different things. She’s only 17 and has more talent than a lot of working professionals I know. She understands female youth better than anyone, so can easily and authentically capture the feeling I want. Manon is the MadeMe girl.”

Reflecting a belief in maintaining women’s physical autonomy, 100% of all profits from anything sold at mademenyc.com this week will be donated to Planned Parenthood. The donation will be sent in the customer’s name and MadeMe will provide you will the donation receipt.

In light of the recent election, the brand is encouraging its customers to get involved at the local level, volunteer, and donate to initiatives that you’re personally connected and focus your energy on making a positive change in this negative climate.”

It was subsequently reported her son aka @/west.coast.streetwear had used her credit card to purchase the shoes he then resold. 

An internal note from Nike to employees reads: Ann Hebert, VP/GM, North America geography has decided to step down from Nike, effectively immediately. We thank Ann for her more than 25 years with Nike and wish her well.”

Nike employees are not permitted to buy the brand's shoes and resell them at a higher price for profit.
