New York-based Mansur Gavriel’s pop up shop in SoHo is now officially open, providing New Yorkers and SoHo tourists an opportunity to try on their quietly edgy bags and shoes, offered in an array of of-the-moment earth-toned colors. Merchandise includes the brand’s newly launched lipstick-and-keys baby bucketbag whose dimensions are 4.75-inches high, 3-inches wide and 2.5-inches deep.
Founded by Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel in 2012, Mansur Gavriel is the little indie brand that could, with a simply modern look that was enough of a force to bring the bucket bag silhouette back into prominence. At the same time, its distinct suede mules have been just as influential, and have been (sadly) knocked off within an inch of their lives by a wide array of brands and retailers.
If having the real deal matters to you, visit Mansur Gavriel’s pop-up boutique at 134 Wooster Street. The store is open now through January 11th, hours are Monday through Saturday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. It will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.
