After his amazing runway presentation two years ago, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci once again returned to New York, this time to present pre-fall 2017. Looks were divided into three categories: classic, fashion, and urban, and while the flavor of the label remains deeply sexy, there were also pieces (pink fur coats and ruffled pants!) that reflected a light-hearted, fun and funky flair. Perhaps as we enter darker days politically, Tisci feels compelled to add some cheer to the landscape.
Piece we really loved included the aforementioned pink fur coat, ruffled pants, but also the nylon, two-tone poncho and the super-sized crystal chain necklaces.
As modeled by Swedish looker Elsa Hosk, the label also showed its two-year-old denim line, which for this season was branded with Givenchy’s flashy trademark star.
