Cardi B Lights Up NYFW With Stops At Sephora, VFiles & Gypsy Sport

February 10, 2017. 2 Comments

To kick off VFiles eighth runway showcase this evening (February 10, 2018), Cardi B lit up Times Square for the retailer’s pre-show event. The rapper performed favorites off of “Gangsta Bitch Volume 1” and her new mixtape “Gangsta Bitch Volume 2.” Before the show, she discussed how far she’s come from performing at strip clubs on 43rd Street and 8th Avenue, not far from Times Square.

Prior to the VFiles event, she made an appearance (February 9th) at Sephora SoHo with Gypsy Sport designer Rio Uribe (image above) for a MAC-related promotion, an event that garnered her first coverage in Vogue.

Cardi and Uribe are fans of each other’s work and over the past year have struck up a friendship so you can expect to see Cardi sitting front row at Uribe’s Gypsy Sport presentation on Sunday, February 12th.

Check out some clips from the VFiles pre-show below.
