New York-based label Georgine‘s collection for fall 2017 was dedicated to the world’s cools girls, those devil-without-a-care types who mysteriously manage to live an adventure and party-filled life bouncing from hotel to hotel. According to press, muses included Coco Chanel, known for her stays at multiple luxury properties, as well as Edie Sedgwick, a resident at the Chelsea Hotel, where she once accidentally set her room on fire.
And indeed the darkly-hued and shimmery dresses and fur-trimned coats that themed offerings looked liked they’d be right at home as worn by that woman with a certain je ne sais quoi, swinging through a swanky hotel lobby or rooftop party.
