Frank Ocean went live last night with a episode six of “blonded,” an ongoing series hosted by Apple Music’s Beats 1. On the show, Ocean wished Nicki Minaj a happy mother’s day, and also praised Andre 3000, saying, “You’re just not involved in top five conversations because you’re No. 1.” He also gave props to The Beatles for helping his productivity. “I want to thank The Beatles for almost single handily getting me out of writer’s block,” he noted.
The episode closed out with a new rendition of A$AP Rocky‘s single “Raf,” an ode to the Harlem rapper’s favorite designer, Raf Simons (more on the back story for the song here). The latest version of “Raf” included contributions from Lil Uzi Vert and Quavo and most noteworthy of all, some bars from Ocean himself.
The show also included a remix of Ocean’s “Biking” single, this time with some new verses and sans Jay-Z and Tyler the Creator.
