Mary J. Blige has released the video for “Love Yourself,” a single featuring Kanye West from her 13th studio album Strength Of A Woman, released in April 2017. Subbing in for West, Blige enlisted Harlem’s own A$AP Rocky, who swapped in new verses.
Directed by Taj & Dre Films in both New York and Los Angeles, Blige was styled by Marni Senofonte. Blige wore a total of three looks: a fire, all-red fur and Adrienne Landau dress paired with Balenciaga‘s famous over-the-knee stretch boots, a teal body-hugging dress with a color-coordinated floor-length blue fur coat. Her third look paired a one-sleeve black leather top with black shorts and lace-up boots.
A$AP appeared in duplicate in one scene wearing an open-zip red tracksuit and a white t-shirt with black track pants. He switches into a black tux in a scene with Blige.
