Model Simone Thompson aka Slick Woods has been tapped as the face of Moschino‘s fall 2017 ad campaign, revealed online this week. Styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeel, with hair by Guido Palau and make-up by Path MacGrath, the campaign was shot by Steven Meisel whose imagery taps into the look and feel of Moschino’s ’90s-era campaigns.
Discovered in Los Angeles, the now New York-based Thompson in a very short period has put together an impressive fashion resume, including recent covers for Love and i-D magazines. She’s also shot campaigns for CK One, Urban Outfitters and was featured in Yeezy Season 2 lookbook. A versatile talent, she’s also strutted runways for Puma by Rihanna, Fendi and Tyler the Creator, among others, and last year attended the CFDA awards with Gypsy Sport designer Rio Uribe.
