Flow is the word for Stella McCartney‘s resort 2018 collection, which embraces the baggier cuts that have been gaining steam in fashion, a sort of bridge from sport-inspired looks to ones that have a more over-sized boyfriend appeal. McCartney’s take on the trend is unique because she finds a way to make the look work for not just slacks, but also dresses and skirts.
The collection also made a literal statement on the relaxed look, mixing in some prints featuring tropical fauna, a graphic that was a theme of the presentation yesterday (June 7, 2017) in New York that was staged to resemble a Caribbean island via thatch huts, pink plastic flamingos and real-live parrots.
