Guys as of late have been taking a lot of knocks and while some of the criticism is well deserved, U.K. singer/songwriter Charli XCX with her new video “Boys” reminds us that there are a lot of very decent and also adorable guys out in the world. In the case of “Boys,” there are precisely 68 males (see list below) from a wide array of backgrounds.
In addition to cute boys and puppies, the video also includes lots of pink-color props, including money, a basketball, inflatable pool, books, teddy bear and more.
“‘Boys’ is my favorite music video I’ve ever made. I just wanna say a big thanks to all the boys involved, for totally embracing and understanding my vision and being excited by the concept. p.s. no boys were harmed in the making of this video,” Charli csaid.
Co-directed by Sarah McColgan and Charli, the song is from her upcoming,as-of-yet unnamed, third studio album.
