Brooklyn Label L’enchanteur’s Provides Artful Upgrade On Du-rag

July 18, 2017. Leave a Comment

At the intersection of  design, mysticism and street lies Brooklyn based label L’enchanteur, a line described by designer twins, Dynasty and Soull Ogun, as “a luxury concept brand inspired by the sciences, color theory, numerology, religion, mythologies, magic and fairy tales.”
Adding to offerings including apparel and accessories, the twin designers have created a collection of du-rags that provide an artful upgrade on the item.
“We conceptualized the du-rag merging the idea of ‘hood,’ inner city fashion or expressions into luxury fabrics. We used floral denim, printed silks, velvet and eyelets, which are rarely seen in the hoods, as something attainable,” said the duo in a statement on the designs.
L’enchanteur’s luxe durags will be available to purchase at lenchanteur.co.
