Puma and Rihanna are headed back to New York for their spring 2018 presentation to be held sometime during New York Fashion Week (September 7-14, 2017).
Puma provided an offiical statement on the upcoming event to WWD that read, “After two successful seasons showing during Paris Fashion Week, Rihanna has decided to return to New York and show her Fenty Puma by Rihanna spring 2018 collection during NYFW, making this the first time she will present during September NYFW.”
Puma and Rihanna debuted their fall 2016 runway collection during New York Fashion Week at 23 Wall Street in February 2016. They went on to show the next two seasons in Paris at Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, and at Bibliothèque Nationale de France for the prep school-themed fall 2017 collection.
According to WWD, Puma signed Rihanna to a three-year contract in December 2014, which ends in December of this year unless they agree to an extension.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is preparing for the fall debut of her beauty line, launched under LVMH’s Kendo boutique beauty division.
